Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FT Building Materials LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as "Firestop-USA" ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website at firestop-usa.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & contact information — name, company, email, phone, and password (stored only in hashed form).
  • Order information — billing and shipping addresses, order and quote history, and project details you provide.
  • Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as a payment token, card brand, and the last four digits; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Credit application information — if you apply for credit terms, the business and financial details, references, and personal-guarantee information you provide.
  • Usage information — basic technical data such as pages viewed and actions taken, and information stored in your browser (see Cookies below).
  • Communications — messages, quote requests, and support inquiries you send us.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage your account; process quotes, orders, payments, invoices, and returns; provide customer support; apply membership discounts and administer credit terms; send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and invoices; improve and secure the Site; and comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. Payment Processing

Card payments are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We use Stripe to charge saved payment methods that you have authorized. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

4. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers who help us operate, including Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (database hosting), and Vercel (application hosting); and with our supplier, manufacturer, and shipping carriers as needed to fulfill and ship drop-ship orders.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights and the rights of others. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and operate core features of the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may limit functionality. Where practical, we choose privacy-preserving defaults.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Site, fulfill and support orders, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

7. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards, including hashed passwords and access controls, to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

You may review and update your account information by logging in, or contact us at sales@firestop-usa.com to access, correct, or request deletion of your information, subject to records we are required to retain by law. You may opt out of non-transactional marketing messages at any time.
